Ghassan I. Shaker is a Member of the Board of Trustees
and co-founder of the McCrane/Shaker Chair at Georgetown
University, Washington DC.
John A. McCrane, a 1950 graduate of Georgetown's School
of Foreign Service, and Ghassan I. Shaker established the
McCrane/Shaker Chair in International Business
and Marketing in 1989. These long-time business associates,
who specialize in Middle Eastern interests, named the Chair
in memory of their fathers.
The establishment of this Chair has been a key
factor in establishing the McDonough School of Business
as a leading global management Program.
